Granted, it's a slightly peculiar looking stand, with the top part resembling a snare drum stand while the legs and feet look like those of a drum throne. Either way, there's nothing but logic behind this construction.

The Meinl HPS Handpan/Tongue Drum Stand

Designed to be compatible with most handpans and steel tongue drums, the HPS securely holds your valuable instrument and as such, is more dependable than a standard snare drum stand. Also, as a thoughtful touch, Meinl included little notches in the rubber pads that can be used to hold the beaters that go with your tongue drum. The double-braced legs provide firm footing, and as you can tell from the pictures, the stand offers ample height-adjustment potential (72cm - 100cm) and can even be deployed whenever you wish to play in a standing position.

Meinl HPS Handpan Stand statief voor handpan / tongue drum

Een statief wat stevig in de basis staat en waar ik in de laagste stand zittend en ook staand op mijn tongdrum kan spelen. De tongdrum zit goed vastgeklemd en handig dat ik de mallets kan vastklikken aan de zijkant.
