Could it be true? Has Dr. Dre really released a speaker with the typical Bax colour? Whether or not, the Beats By Dre Pill XL PK mobile Bluetooth speaker has a rather striking appearance thanks to its pink colour. This Pill XL is one size larger than the well-known (small) Pill speakers, measuring 33 centimetres while still maintaining a light weight. This means you can easily take it with you wherever you go, the playground, the market or an outdoor party for instance. It might be a bit larger but that's because it has bigger speakers for an even bigger sound.
New in the Pill XL: Near Field Connection
One important addition is the Near Field Connection option. This function allows you to easily pair your smartphone to the Pill XL - simply tap them together and a wireless connection is made. Tap two Pill XL speakers together and they'll both play the same audio source and when you tap them twice, they will play in stereo.
An energy Pill
Because you don't want to suddenly end up with an empty Pill XL, it features a battery indicator. The battery lasts 15 hours and automatically shuts down when the speaker hasn't been used for ten minutes. When the Pill XL still has enough energy left but your phone is almost dead, you can charge it with the Pill XL by means of Charge Out.
