Tuna Knobs 4 pack controlli per tablet
In an age that's all about digitalising music production, DJ Samuel Verburg has chosen an alternative route. In collaboration with the Dutch design agency Tweetonig, he developed Tuna Knobs, a concept that merges the old and the new. Tuna Knobs are physical controls that you can place on the touch screen of your tablet, allowing for hands-on control of your music production apps. Verburg came up with the idea for his Tuna Knobs while he was exploring the possibilities of the iPad as a music production tool. After prolonged experimentation with virtual MIDI controllers like TouchOSC, Verburg came to the conclusion that something was missing: the touch and feel of conventional DJ hardware. Tuna Knobs are rotary encoders that can be attached to a touch screen by means of suction cups. The touch screen will automatically recognise them as fingertips and respond accordingly.
Using the Tuna Knobs
Tuna Knobs were financed by means of a crowdfunding campaign. The public responded with such enthusiasm, that the required amount was reached 28 days before the final deadline. Tuna Knobs are compatible with Windows Android and iOS touch screen devices. This set consists of four knobs that come in a practical travel case.
