The ADJ4-XL is the extra large version of the Moon-series ADJ4 djembes by Meinl. This drum was carved from a solid piece of mahogany, which was grown on a special plantation. It was painted purple and features some beautiful, decorative carvings. The head of this drum is made of hand-selected goatskin, which is stretched over the ADJ4-XL by means of the Mali Weaving Tuning System, using HTP nylon cords. This gives the djembe a warm sound and ensures that it stays perfectly in tune for a very long time. Furthermore, Meinl also included a professional djembe bag with this ADJ4-XL, for safe transportation of this precious percussive instrument.
