The Pioneer DDJ-200 is perfect for those taking their first steps into the world of DJing. This smart DJ controller works with WeDJ or Rekordbox and can be used wirelessly with a smartphone or tablet. With the DDJ-200 you can learn to mix music in an intuitive way. It may be compact, but this controller has a layout that resembles professional Pioneer DJ equipment and if you get to grips with this, you'll be well on your way to becoming a bonafide DJ!
DDJ-200: Use it Anywhere!
The DDJ-200 is USB-powered which means you can plug it into a socket, a computer or even a powerbank making it truly portable. Connecting your smartphone or tablet is easy using Bluetooth and if you've got an iPhone, you can use the WeDJ app to DJ with the music in your iTunes library. It's also possible to stream music directly from Beatport LINK, SoundCloud Go+, Deezer, Spotify and more. The edjing Mix app works with iPhone, iPad and Android devices, while Rekordbox works with Mac and PC.
Tutorial is Key!
In addition to the standard features, Pioneer's WeDJ app has a handy tutorial function to help you master the basics of DJing. The Pop-Hint function explains common terms and what the controls do, while Transition FX make it easy to switch between tracks. Phrase Sync is another great feature that helps to make your transitions sound as natural as possible. Get your DJing career off to a flying start with the Pioneer DDJ-200.
Consigli e osservazioni
- Please note: the Pioneer DDJ-200 has an internal hardware licence for Rekordbox DJ. You can download Rekordbox via Pioneer and then activate the DJ version by connecting the controller.
- Note that the Pioneer DDJ-200 doesn't have a standard headphone connection, but you can connect headphones using the included splitter cable.
