The G2420 Streamliner Hollowbody has all that genuine Gretsch feel and acoustic sound along with the pure amplified power you get from an archtop guitar that was first developed way back when. The thin U-profile neck has a 12-inch fretboard radius and medium jumbo frets for equally tried-thoroughly-tested-and-true playing comfort while the Adjusto-Matic bridge; fixed to the wood of the body, combined with closed oil-bath tuning mechanics, guarantee consistent intonation and dependable tuning.

The G2420: A Classic Old Friend with a Modern Touch

The acoustic sound of this Streamliner is shaped by a laminated maple body and nato neck. Combined, this is what forms that well-known and lush warm foundation sound. Meanwhile, two Broad'Tron BT-2S pickups are mounted for the high-output amplification only a pair of double-wound humbuckers can offer, while delivering fat fullness of tone that still manages to sound tight.
